The original drummer for Bad Company was Simon Kirke, who co-founded the band with singer Paul Rodgers and guitarist Mick Ralphs in 1973. Kirke had previously played in Free with Rodgers, and was known for his powerful yet tasteful drumming style. He continued to play with Bad Company until the band disbanded in 1982, and has since gone on to record and tour with a variety of other artists, including Ringo Starr, Joe Walsh, and Jimmy Page. Kirke remains an active musician and continues to tour and record new music to this day.
